STROUDSBURG — An organization with offices in Monroe County is asking for the public’s help in order to assist vulnerable women and children in the Poconos.
Keystone Premier Settlement Services, LLC, a local affiliate of Title Alliance, LTD, will accept donations for Women’s Resources of Monroe County at their Stroudsburg and Sciota offices until the end of August.
The organization is asking for donations in the form of new personal care and home care items that can be used in the shelter such as blankets, hair products, soaps and laundry detergent. The community can drop off items during normal business hours at the Stroudsburg office, located at 404 Park Avenue, and the Sciota office, located at 705 Glen Lane.
“Our August TA Gives Back initiative allows us to give back to the community while also sharing our culture that emphasizes genuine relationships, empathy and goodwill,” said Lindsay Smith, Chief Strategy Officer at Title Alliance in a Wednesday press release. “In all our joint ventures, we have a deep and genuine interest in both our employees and communities, which is why we strive to give back in concrete ways across our footprint.”
According to the press release, the campaign is part of a larger initiative with more than 50 Title Alliance offices in eleven states that aims to collect 3,000 items for women’s shelters nationwide during the month of August.
“All our employees are excited to collect donations and much-needed items for women across the country and we urge the public to provide what they can,” said Smith. “At Title Alliance, we are in the business of helping people start new lives in dream homes and we recognize that for many, sometimes a dream home is simply a safe place to stay.”
